Axiomatic was recently tasked with the project management, analysis, consultation with and migration of employees from one employer to another given our client’s recent corporate activity. The result was an end-to-end solution which was fully compliant with the provisions of Section 197 of the Labour Relations Act, ensuring that transferring employees were employed on terms and conditions that are on the whole not less favourable than those enjoyed with the previous employer. Benefits were matched where possible, setup where required and, as a last resort, quantified and corresponding monetary compensation paid out where necessary.

Personalised communication clarifying the full process and detailing a benefit-by-benefit comparison was produced and distributed to employees to ensure a smooth transition and to dispel any misconceptions.
